Adviser network Tenet has appointed Simon Broadley as managing director to its adviser business Tenet&You, which has made 18 firm acquisitions so far.
Broadley joined Tenet back in 2018, having served as managing director of Tenet Mortgage Solutions, the network’s mortgage and protection business.
He will remain in this role, alongside his position as deputy chairperson on the board of the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries.
Alongside Broadley, Tenet&You has also welcomed a customer acquisitions head in Dave Harris, whose job it will be to increase client leads at the adviser business. Harris’ background is in wealth management consultancy.
Tenet, which holds around £32mn in net assets, said its adviser business has “a strong prospective pipeline” of potential future deals, and that these recent appointments are aimed to help drive further growth.
Back in August, Tenet bought Leeds-based wealth management firm Astute Financial Advisers, adding more than £100mn in assets under management.
Tenet rebranded its in-house advice business in 2020, changing its name from Aspire to Tenet&You.
“Tenet&You’s growth shows that consumers want quality support that adapts alongside them, which is exactly what we do,” said Broadley.
“I’m delighted to be leading an already strong team in this exciting next stage and continuing to ensure consumers get the very best services and options.”
Mark Scanlon, Tenet’s chief executive, said it’s an “exciting time” for the group’s owned advice business.
“Tenet&You provides a ready-made exit for retiring advisers that also ensures their clients continue to be well looked after,” Scanlon continued.
“Simon and Dave’s expertise and understanding of the advice sector will be invaluable as we take Tenet&You to new heights and deliver that all-important financial peace of mind to consumers.”
