As our world becomes more competitive, it’s worth reflecting on the words of Mr Hunt-Davis.
What they mean for me is:
If you have a plan that is based on fact, which is founded on your review of the future and analysis of what you want to achieve, then you have a greater chance of success and happiness than someone who just drifts through life and business.
The key is to continually test what you are doing against this plan and ask yourself, is what you are doing now helping your boat go faster?
If not, then why do it?
If it does, make sure your plan can help you do it as efficiently and as profitably as possible.
I’d urge you all to ask yourself everyday: “Will what I am doing now make my boat go faster?”
