In the past five years the fund has returned 128.1 per cent to investors, well ahead of the average return of 89.5 per cent for a fund in the IA Asia Pacific ex-Japan sector. The fund has an ongoing charge of 0.92 per cent.
Aided by a strong analyst team we like Mr Moffett's ‘safety first’ approach. He focuses on downside protection, which means that while the fund might not keep up in a strongly rising market, it proves its worth when times are tough.
