NextGen Planners is to run a 60-day challenge to help financial planners achieve the Level 6 advanced certificate in financial planning from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
The financial planning community will give members the content and resources needed to pass the exam over this two-month period.
Support will also be provided by former head of financial planning at the CISI, Jackie Lockie, who launched financial planning coaching business Lockie Consultants in 2021.
The certificate is needed for the certified financial planner designation.
NextGen Planners director and head of content, Adam Owen, said: "Our strategic vision is to empower our community to become world class and to deliver the best outcomes for clients.
"The CFP designation is a globally recognised qualification that focuses on the skills needed to do this and we are seeing people more people taking this qualification route."
He added: "The challenge combines video and live tutorial content with the usual written content that you would expect to see but most importantly we create a support structure that encourages people to study collaboratively.
"The impact of this can be seen in the success the programme has had so far."
The group had already run the challenge last year, which saw 50 people successfully complete the programme.
The latest initiative starts on Friday, July 1, with a YouTube live show featuring head of financial planning at the CISI, Sally Plant. It is free of charge to NextGen members.
A second challenge will go live later this year to help candidates with the Level 7 case study element of the CFP designation.
Chris Morris, deputy head of financial planning at CISI, said: "The certified financial planner certification continues to appeal to forward thinking and innovative financial planners, who want to build robust plans based on clients’ aspirations.
"In today’s world of rising inflation and the cost of living crisis, being skilled in understanding impacts and risks and how to communicate these to clients has never been more relevant.
"We are delighted that NextGen continue to support their community on the pathway to becoming a CFPTM professional."
NextGen Planners was founded in 2017 and aims to support the financial planning community through a network of professionals, tailored content, and events.
It currently has 800 members.
