Another ‘oldie’ is The Perfect Prey: The Fall of ABN Amro, or What Went Wrong with the Banking Industry by Jeroen Smit. I enjoy that one because I know a lot of people who are named in it.
If I really like a book, I give one to everyone on the Starling board. I think they get a bit fed up with it.

My view is that it is very easy to get stuck in ways of thinking about a business. Some ideas become no longer relevant and reading the stories of others is a prompt to try something else.
