Investment Adviser’s news editor Bradley Gerrard last night won the fund management industry’s top journalism prize for a second time.
The Trade Journalist of the Year 2014 award was handed to Mr Gerrard at the IMA’s annual dinner, which was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
The ceremony marks the final year of the trade body’s current name ahead of its rebrand to The Investment Association next year.
The award win follows a period of development for the title, including the expansion of its multimedia activities and the burgeoning Investment Adviser 100 Club, which was launched in 2012 to recognise the best fund managers in the industry.
Investment Adviser won the IMA Team Award for Excellence in Investment Writing in 2012 and 2013 and was shortlisted this year.
Elsewhere, regular Investment Adviser contributor Philip Scott was named as Freelance Journalist of the Year.
We would like to thank the asset managers who voted for Investment Adviser and its journalists this year and we look forward to continuing to work with the industry to deliver the best possible product to our readers.
